I saw a Mallet Solstice at the local autox yesterday. He was not running, but I think he wants to. I think that could make one hell of an SM2 car. The LS2 seemed to fit very well and didn't look out of place in the car at all. He said they now have an LS7 option and they have an option for a T56 instead of the Solstice 5 speed. If I only had money.

I somehow remember reading that once the V8 is swapped into the Solstice it weighs as much if not more than the Vette'...google time!

I somehow remember reading that once the V8 is swapped into the Solstice it weighs as much if not more than the Vette'...google time! That's what I remember too. I don't think it was any cheaper either. So my question is what's the point? Unless some how you are able to autox it in a lesser class. Weight distribution is killed, and you're never be as refined as the vette. |
