My -98 Camaro desperately needs new wheels. Width 9-11" Must fit 4th gen without spacers of any kind.

There is no economical 17x11 rim that will fit a Camaro (smaller fenders than a Firebird) without spacers. Even if you order a custom set with the right offset for somewhere over $2000 USD, you will probably still need to use spacers at the front and/or rear to fine tune the fit.

The 50mm ZR1 17x11 is what I have. I'm running 5/16" spacers, and still had trim away part of the bumpstop bracket. That's with a very carefully adjusted double rod-end PHB too. I really don't care about the looks. Weight is more important. Ugly Vette wheels will do just fine. Maybe I should also accept wheels, that require spacers. But only if the appropriate spacers are included with the wheels.

Personally, I wouldn't (and don't) use them on the street, but some people do. |
