My -98 Camaro desperately needs new wheels. Width 9-11" Must fit 4th gen without spacers of any kind.

International shipping required(europe), so the lighter the rims, the better, so I can save on shipping. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

There is no economical 17x11 rim that will fit a Camaro (smaller fenders than a Firebird) without spacers. Even if you order a custom set with the right offset for somewhere over $2000 USD, you will probably still need to use spacers at the front and/or rear to fine tune the fit.

yes there is... the ZR1 5 spoke wheel... you can get the 2 silver 17x11 for $399 from TomzWheels..order the 50-56mm offset they fit without spacers in the rear.. and you can use 17x9.5 ZR1 wheels up front without spacers too.. run these on my 98 Z28.. no spacers..

The 50mm ZR1 17x11 is what I have. I'm running 5/16" spacers, and still had trim away part of the bumpstop bracket. That's with a very carefully adjusted double rod-end PHB too. My fenders are also rolled and very subtly flared.

I really don't care about the looks. Weight is more important. Ugly Vette wheels will do just fine. Maybe I should also accept wheels, that require spacers. But only if the appropriate spacers are included with the wheels.

17x11 ZR1 replicas are very heavy, around 25~26 lbs each, but they are strong. They are a cheap way to run 315 race tires. Personally, I wouldn't (and don't) use them on the street, but some people do.

315s in all corners would be nice, but I don't want any heavy replicas.

Well, a set of lightweight 17x11 rims is going to cost 5~10X as much as a used set of stock 17x9 SS/WS6 rims. A new set of lightweight CCW or Forgeline 17x11 rims goes for around $2200~$2500 USD. If there's a reasonably-priced used set around, I'd like to know about it myself (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
