(IMG:http://www.2000transam.com/temp/timingchains.jpg) Also looks like I bent/broke/twisted/f-ed up a rod in the process... related or not. All of my pistons have valve reliefs cut into the domes... #6's piston is almost upside down... Anyone selling some sort of LS1/2/6/7/x short block? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I'd like to at least get it back on the track while I save up for my next monster motor... |

Ouch!
And that's how motor builds get so expensive... "well for 100 bucks more I can upgrade this.. for 300 bucks more I can upgrade this.. for 600 bucks more I can upgrade this.. I'd hate for this to break and ruin my motor, better upgrade this also... Pretty soon you can't aford the motor you want. |
