I didn't want to clutter up Randy's rebuild post so I started this one
from Mitch: QUOTE www.certifit.com Fenders $44 each Hood $156 Bumper cover $62 Those are LIST pricing. We've been quoted about 15% off of that. So Mitch, Glen or anyone, have you seen these parts in person? Do they weigh the same (or less!) than OEM? Is the fit and finish sufficient for a track car? The prices for camaro parts are unbelievable, of course the firebird pieces are 1.5 to 2x the cost as the chevrolet. :0 ... and they don't have bumper covers or head light covers for the 4th gen bird grrrrrr This post has been edited by y5e06: Nov 2 2007, 01:53 AM |

Thanks for the info. Glenn, I talked to you briefly about it this past weekend but I should have looked at the parts on your car.
as far as a cambird hybrid goes, since LAW has multiple spare parts, have you tried just hanging a camaro fender on a 'bird? I remember thinking that the shape of the leading edge of the door wouldn't match the camaro fender very well at all. Not to mention the ridge or crease that is present on the pontiac door. But that was just eye balling the my two cars as they sit side by side in the garage. Also, seems they have a San Antonio location. So about a 1.5 hr trip is doable for aprts.
