Not my video, but thought I'd post a link here since it's an ITE Camaro. This track looks pretty scary from a run-off standpoint. Anyone here been on it?

Looks like the track where Jon A ran over that poor bunny rabbit! I'll take a bunny over a deer any day! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Funny you mention it though, but I just ran over another one a few weeks ago (not on the track). I really, really did try to avoid him...but when it happened this incident was the first thing that came to mind. Call me Buggs Magnet. |

Me too! I've got the front fascia off, cut up, and I'm ready to order some 4130! I'm going to do brake ducts through the frame rails too. Man, I'm sorry Dennis. I was really expecting to have all sorts of pics and tips on the front breather for you by now but shit happens. If this motor damage turns out to be minor and I get it fixed in the next few weeks, I promise that's my next project! Though I won't tell you to wait on me or it might never get done. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dunno.gif) I did do the brake ducts through the frame rails though and that rocks! No rubbing at full lock, no ground clearance loss and with the ducts I used holy crap did they work well! After a cooldown lap my front rotors were colder than the rear! I do have a pic or two of that I could dig up. |

I've got a folder full of pictures from a bunch of guys on here and my mechanic/racer/engineer buddy has some good ideas as well. For now I'm still trimming wires out of the fuse box and cleaning up stuff in the area. That's great news on the brake ducts. When I'm all converted over with a dzus clipped splitter on the front, the whole air dam, ducts, etc. will be nice to be gone. Pictures of your duct work would be appreciated! I'm glad to see you back on the board. No sweat about not having time!---I understand! I haven't been on here as much either lately after getting engaged in June. The last few years I did 15-18 track days and only 9 this year. Prepping a car, loading it on a trailer, etc., hauling 4-5 hours is wearing on both me and the wallet, although the time at the track is awesome. With buying a house next year and a wedding, I'm sure my track time will be reduced next year as well, but either way I think I have at least a few years left in this and I always wanted to do the front breather.
