I build race cars ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Group: Advanced Members Posts: 4,748 Joined: 31-August 05 From: Central coast, CA Member No.: 874 ![]() |
My supplier got a roll of CF fabric in, so I can do some layups that have not been possible for some time. I'm rolling prices back a bit for a short time. Orders placed with a 50% deposit by July 15 will get the reduced prices. Orders will be filled about 1 per week after the 15th.
4th gen Ttop replacement panel: for track/race cars - replaces all Ttop attachment hardware and weatherstripping. Fits flush to surface of windshield and targa. Weight is under 5#. $450 + $75 crating + UPS shipping. 4th gen Camaro hood: for track/race cars - 4 pins required. Weight is under 9#. $850 (LT1) or $950 (LS1) + crating + truck freight . I have molds for LT1 and LS1 cars. C5 Corvette hood: for track/race cars - 4 pins required. Weight is under 9#. $950 + crating + truck freight C5 Corvette headlight covers: for track/race cars - bond to hood, chassis, or bumper cover. Weight is a few oz. $180/pr + UPS shipping. Products delivered in CA subject to CA sales tax. It's very possible I could get big items to Mid Ohio in Sept, and then to other parts of the country via the buddy express, saving the crating and freight costs. No insurance this way, tho. PM me or email me at: ablaine (at) cruzio (dot) com, or call the shop at 831 427-3296 This post has been edited by Blainefab: Apr 20 2007, 10:31 PM |

Alan,
Your carbon work looks VERY nice. FYI, you might look into CF front fenders.....perhaps with a hint of the Sunoco Camaro flaring.....and a nose. I am assuming there would be a market.....ESPECIALLY if you modified the the nose to look something like this: (IMG:http://www.bryntessonmotorsport.com/images/536.jpg) I bought Chinese front fenders for $42 each and a nose for $79. They would make VERY GOOD starting points for making molds of such products..... ....hint hint..... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) |

That's one of the cars from the Swedish Camaro Challenge series, right? How do they get the euro wheels (Speedlines, O.Z., ATS, etc.) to fit our cars? Are they changing the whole hub assembly to one of their bolt patterns??? Or are they custom drilling the wheels? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dunno.gif) (Sorry for the (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/hijacked.gif) , Alan, but if I ever get the cash, one of your hoods is on my Z28. They look 100x better than the VFN $h!t! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif) ) This post has been edited by dailydriver: Nov 29 2007, 05:31 PM |

(IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) ...but I have re-established contact with two main players in the Camaro Cup as of a couple of days ago and am getting good email exchanges with them going now. I am seeing if the builder of the nose would be willing to ship them to the US now. Likely the shipping would be huge, so we would need to ship one and see if the guy would let us copy it for us. Alan? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif) Oh, and they use Corvette stuff up front, I am pretty sure the hubs are the same--stock Camaro stuff in the rear. I have asked about the wheels...he is getting the info for me. They use ZZ4 Crate motors with lightweight pistons and get about 420 HP out of them. They also run them on E85 with just a jet change on the carb! This post has been edited by rmackintosh: Nov 29 2007, 05:41 PM |
