Anyone know what he is talking about? He seems to think that the "copies" are made from a lesser-quality aluminum. ...just curious, they seem pretty beefy to me.

I think that doing a C5 brake swap is so far down on my list that these guys will just collect dust. I believe that these are the "Bob Bishop" brackets and were purchased some time ago by the previous owner of my car (they came with the car, uninstalled). I know that the Bob Bishop brackets are no longer produced but there is another place that makes them under the name of "Trackbrackets". The GP rate for these were $239+$10 for shipping the last time I saw people buying them. $150 shipped, firm.
