I've seen a couple early 90's Impreza's going for $1-2K and was wondering if getting one like that and playing around in a stock class would be a good idea. Ofcourse, stuff like suspension components need to be replaced with stock replacement parts, but I'm figuring it'll be cheap and fun ... what ya'll think?

sounds like fun but.....
wouldn't it cost about the same to get an old Miata.... autocross it for a couple years... decide you're board with autocross.... and then prep it for Spec Miata...?... |
