Here is my thought process: understanding I'm new to the road racing, but not autocross. Brakes are personal preference. We buy them, and sometimes, don't like them. Too harsh, not enough grab, etc etc. You might not figure it out until you tried them. Once you tried em you cant return em. I thought, ok, maybe someone tried em, put a few miles on them, don't like em. sitting around in your garage. You sell to me discounted, you make a buck, I save a buck. Everyone's happy. If I don't like them, I'm not out $100 bucks.
