Well its time I start on this car, I really wanted to get another fbody but I don't have the money right now to out right buy a 6speed car...So im going to have to convert this one. I also would rather have a hard top car, but im going to work with what ive got....

In the various 3rd gen swaps I've done, I've used the support bars that swing down to the master cylinder from the pedal pivot bolt and the U bolt for the master cylinder to set the spacing. I "punched" the indents with the U bolt, drilled them and then used a hole saw on one car and a greenlee punch on the other to punch the large hole for the master. I've done a couple this way and it lines 'em up perfect every time.
