I was driving north on I-85 from Charlotte a few years ago at night. It was about 9:00 PM and I noticed a set of headlights waaaaay behind me. It was during the NCAA Basketball Championships, and I took my eyes off the road trying to find a station to scores, or a game. A second later, a 4th gen Z-28 went by me going at least 130mph, and probably considerably more. I was running over 70, and he was gone in a second. No emergency lights, flashers, nothing. Glad I didn't drift into his lane!

I was on a very straight section of four lane freeway which is separated by a large grassy median. I'm pretty vigilant about checking my rear view mirrors - some a hole in a Porsche blew by me in the fast lane at upwards of 130mph. I did not see him, and if I had decided to make a lane change to pass someone he was going so fast he would not have had time to react.
