Couldn't determine if this was safety, or chassis.. Mods, do whatever you wish..

Anyway, my car has an optima red top in it, and it appears the front edge of the battery tray either broke off or was removed, so the battery isn't as secure as it'll need to be to pass tech... or my own tech for that matter.

I would thinking of booty-fabbing a simple strap arrangement that would go from the core support down to the original battery hold down bolt.. Could make it from some 1/8" x 1" steel strap or something, but if someone has figured out a more elegant solution, I'm all ears!

BHFBLK: Battery Strap Black 03-Up F-body w/ bolt
(Includes BSB1: Battery strap bolt, and BS1BLK: Battery Strap Black 93-Up)
