So what do us racer types listen to?
I gotta have something on in the garage, and I installed a XM Satellite radio in our truck. My latest CD purchases. OutKast, and nine inch nails. My next will probably be Seven Mary Three, and the best of Hootie. BTW I LOVE 7mary3. AND in there newest CD the Economy Of Sound, it looks to me like they is autoxing(!), in some of the liner note pictures!! |

Springsteen, Southside Johnny, Little Steven, the Jersey Shore scene....
60's and 70's Motown and Philadelphia soul...(check out the movie Standing in the Shadows of Motown) Country - Tim McGraw, Brooks&Dunn, Shania, Mary Chapin Carpenter (Local DC girl), Pop - Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, Then the rest - Tom Waits, John Eddie, John Haitt, Queen, Tommy Keene (another DC native), The Clash, 80's punk, Goo Goo Dolls, Marshall Crenshaw, The Who, Warren Zevon, Big Country, Aerosmith, Saw Cowboy Mouth two years ago on Halloween Night - Show ROCKED!!! Usually listen to 92.5 The River in Boston Independent Radio, and the independent radio stations in DC (old WHFS and WROR). Hate the 10 song playlist!!! Kind of a main stream old guy with an independant fringe. I have some of the obscure stuff by some of those artists, ex. the Birdy and Last Temptation of Christ soundtracks by Peter Gabriel... Favorite song to autox to? Jerry was a racecar driver by Primus... |
