The One Lap of America School is in a couple of weeks. Details:
http://www.beaverun.com/event_one_lap_of_a...hool_dinner.htm I plan to be there. Like last year, I will run my CMC car on Saturday and my street car on Sunday (weather permitting - I don't run in the rain or snow unless there are points or Toyo bux on the line). Anyway, for those of you unfamiliar with this, it is essentially a two-day lapping day event with the classroom sessions focused on clearing driver's to race in the One Lap of America event. I was there last year and managed to meet and chat with Brock Yates. He even looked over my CMC car and approved. This is a unique opportunity to participate in a lapping day AND rub elbows with some drivers you might have heard of. Anyone thinking of coming? It's always good to see the f-bodies out there. |

I can say it is a very laided back couple of day's. Just because it is geared for OLOA anybody can go and have some fun. I had Burt Leive(spelling) as my instructor and we hit it off very well. I was cleared SOLO in just 2 sessons.
Keith would love to do another track day, I wasnt on the race sled this yr and im looking for a speed fix, I'm working Sat until after this event. Cant make it for Sun. Never had my crown vic cop car on the track. Later Enjoy John |
