For those that have the 36mm offset ZR1 wheels could you please do me a big favor, I need to see how much room if any there is between the stoptech brake caliper and the back of the spoke on these wheels by using this fitmitment guide from Stoptech?
http://www.stoptech.com/wheelfitchart/PDF/camaro.pdf I contacted AFS and they basically told me they wouldn't check. Said they built them to clear the stock calipers, duh no kidding. I even sent the exact link above to tell me if they would fit and said they would not be able to tell for me (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I would really appreciate it very much if someone could do this for me!!! I'd even send a few bucks your way for doing this as well (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

QUOTE (Darkhalf @ May 3 2004, 08:14 AM) The only other question I have is can I run a 38mm offset in the rear 17x9.5 of course (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Without rubbing the outerlip of the fender (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Cause I'd like to be able to rotate these as much as I can w/o any issues. I have been for a few months now with zero rubbing--and I'm using a small spacer in the back! During body roll/steep driveway angles, etc the tire is nowhere close to the outer fender lip. It would only be close in pure two-wheeled compression but there's still a little clearance: (IMG:http://www.jonaadland.com/NewPics3/Weelsr3.JPG) |
