For those that have the 36mm offset ZR1 wheels could you please do me a big favor, I need to see how much room if any there is between the stoptech brake caliper and the back of the spoke on these wheels by using this fitmitment guide from Stoptech?
http://www.stoptech.com/wheelfitchart/PDF/camaro.pdf I contacted AFS and they basically told me they wouldn't check. Said they built them to clear the stock calipers, duh no kidding. I even sent the exact link above to tell me if they would fit and said they would not be able to tell for me (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I would really appreciate it very much if someone could do this for me!!! I'd even send a few bucks your way for doing this as well (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

Sorry, Darkhalf, that I haven't gotten back to you sooner. Jon, good interpretation of the cross-hatched area - I suppose that's why it fits so well in the lug-hole, because that's where the studs go through the rotor. In that case, my first measurement stands, like Jon's - they fit great!
Also, the 38's fit on the back without a spacer as well, as I used them in my last two autocrosses (rod-ended panhard for proper location...) with absolutely no rubbing. Enjoy the new rims/brakes when you get them! (*drools over StopTech*) |
