I finally figured out this Photobucket thing, so I thought I would post a couple of Pics of my Two F-bodies. I'm building the Camaro to play around in either CP or XP next year, while I'm learning the ropes with the WS6. Do you think they will let me run with the surfboard on top? Rounds out the whole Beach Cruiser theme! Enjoy!

Uppers and Lowers are C5, as are the spindles and Brakes (Z06 calipers) Bottom arms retain the eccentric adjusters while the top arms can be shimmed if needed. From my measuments I can get up to -5deg to +1 Camber on it at that ride height. I can also move the ride height with the coilovers. I did the design to give me a 1 1/2" roll center. It's going to the alignment shop this weekend to make sure the car is square. I put the front fenders on over the weekend and I was very happy the wheels ended up in the center of the fender holes! I was able to get a set of 305/30/18's on the front with no rubbing issues. Only downside is the rack is out of a Mustang!
The rear is all C4 from a '96. I made adjustable Trailing arms and bought all adjustable camber and toe rods from Vette Products. I can even move the Angles of the trailing arms to change the IC, similar to an adjustable four link. It won't have the same effect as a solid axle drag car, but I can dial out some of the IRS anti squat issues I hope. Thanks for the comments guys, as long as it turns out square I'm starting on the brake lines and other plumbing this fall. |
