it says it was the 2005 A-Production winner, but the car is marked as a C-Production car, what changes it from competing as AP to CP?
or is CP the new AP and i'm just confusing it bc my dad runs a 66 vette in AP (vintage racing obviously) ? |

It could be as simple as weight. Now that AP is gone, I'm pretty sure tube cars aren't allowed in XP (the in-excess weight penalty for modified floor pans and tube frames is not in the XP rules as it was in AP). It might have been as simple as ballast it up to the CP required weight for tube cars. Note: this all applies to auto-x, I have no idea about the SCCA road racing rules.
