Sorry I never got over to your pit stall and talk. I did see the car on track.
How was the weekend? |

Ugh, I've had better. In the first two sessions, I got a combined 3 hot laps due to loose power steering pressure line and a serpentine belt that came completely apart. The third session was going great, the car was running well, coolant temp was 190, oil temp 235 (I was worried about cooling with the new motor since it ran quite hot with the stock motor), everything was working well, when the LR Hoosier suffered a tread separation:
(IMG:http://www.mowhineracing.com/ch29/tire.jpg) The tire still has air in it, so it wasn't a puncture, but the belts came apart in a big way. I felt a vibration around corner 6 (clockwise), and I decided to see what it would do for one lap. By the start/finish line, it came completely apart. The damage to the car is minor in the grand scheme of tire damage, but those rear bumpers are pricey: (IMG:http://www.mowhineracing.com/ch29/bumper.jpg) How were things in the CMC garage?
