Ouch! On the bright side ... that's a great picture of the FRRAX logo. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
CMC teal car is in the arms of another lover. The new owners trailered her away Saturday evening and appears they couldn't be happier, even with a couple gremlins. The PS pump was whining and puking fluid out of the reservoir. Big surprise, eh? We had a revalved pump from a local company that went home with them. There was a massive oil leak coming from front seal ... at least we think that's what it is. It could be PS fluid. Finally, the other co-owner went out and we didn't think to explain to him that he needed to run the fans to keep it cool. So, it puked all the water out. I think they'll remember to use the fans next time. CMC#8 broke in a new motor on Saturday and laid the spurs to her on Sunday. All indications are that I may have my butt handed to me this season. It had one of the revalved pumps on it and the driver seemed to really like it. He had a stock pump with a huge cooler and now it has the revalved unit. He said the feedback was much better and there was now discernable differnece in steering effort. Finally a reasonably priced alternative to the Turn One pump. Both cars were rocket ships, easily faster than my white car. Sux to build and sell a car faster than your own ... |
