Usually Beamers have little panels that can be removed from a bumper. Under that panel is a hole where a tow eye can be screwed. Sometimes the cars have the tow eyes in their trunk, other times the tow truck has to supply them.
In other words, there's no way you were going to be able to be a Good Samaritan without the owners around. It's the thought that counts, though! |

I would not be a good neighbor if I ripped a body panel off their Beamer. Good info about that particular car though! Cars did not do well for these neighbors. Besides the Beamer getting stuck, I saw their classic Mustang had heavy front end damage in the last few days. It looked like they were restoring this car, now it is probably just a parts car.
