I'm turning my accessories too fast. Can I get a BBK/ASP/March P/N that works on a ZZ4 SBC (96, 1 pc RMS, long water pump). I've searched all of these brands and I can't be sure what will work correctly. A 25% smaller dia. than stock will work, but I can't determine which one has the correct number of grooves and spacing. It would help if they published those kind of specs! I can't tell if the LT1 will work, or the 88-92 F-body, or why they're different. No problem. Just as long as you ordered to match the correct years accessories, you're in good shape.
I used to spend all day looking up parts for a living, I'm a bit rusty, but it's nice to try to remember how I used to do it. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Check the instructions, most of your belt sizes will change (shorter), at least in most cases they do. I also wrote the belt number (or numbers) under the hood somewhere in sharpie/paint marker (parts stores can't look it up by the year and model anymore). If you lose the belt out on the track, you will not have the part number from the old belt. That makes it a real pain to try to locate the right belt (ask Glenn about the 2007 NASA nationals, we bought every belt in town). Just a handy tip. |

With a P/N printed on it! Thanks again, and I did manage to clear my debt to you by the end of the year! Check your mail in a few days. |
