I'm looking for a 4th gen f-body with hardtop, manual trans, and 350 engine. Camaro or Firebird, doesn't matter. I'd prefer an LS-1 car, but due to the scarcity of the combination of my other constraints I'll definitely consider an LT-1 car. The car will be set up for autocross in ESP, so most mods generally won't be of much value to me. If you know of something in the mid-atlantic area, please let me know. I'll even buy a car without motor, trans, or both as long as it started as a V8/manual trans car.

Howdy,
I don't really have a budget. The ideal car would have 80k to 100k miles and in good shape...but I'm willing to consider anything. My car is a '99 z28 (so, LS1), dark blue, hardtop manual trans. 75k miles or so? Don't actually recall. Well under 100k. No a/c, no emissions, no radio (I have the parts IIRC, but no promises). driver seat is a Corbea Forza on a slider, passenger seat is a Cobra fixed mount. Bolt on detachable steering wheel, accelerator pedal cover/extender. Seven point G-Force latch/link harnesses. 4 point rollbar & legal SFC's (well, as legal as anyone else's, given the goofy rule wording). Two sets of 17x11 ZR1 clones with something like 20 used & still have life 315 A6's. Two sets of 17x9.5 wheels, one set with street tires, one set bare. GC coilover front spring w/700 in-lb springs, GC rear jackers with 175 in-lb springs. 35mm hollow front bar (Strano bar). Stock rear bar. Koni singles front & rear. T2R diff offset front upper control arm bushings. Carbotech pads front and rear (XP-12 & XP-10? Can't remember, I'd have to check) with stainless lines. Airbox lid, underdrive pulleys, Spec (??) clutch/flywheel, Bassani (??) mid length headers, gutted stock cat housings, Borla (??) exhaust. HP Tuners programming software (with stock tune but with emissions checks turned off). Car is generally in good shape, except there's a miss that I haven't been able to figure out. I've got the stock front bar, a 22mm hollow (Stranoparts) bar I'm halfway through converting to be adjustable, and another stock rear bar. Spare rear axle assembly with 3.73 gears, drop brackets, vent modification, complete except for the diff. Another rear axle with stock gears with a stripped ring gear bolt hole. I've got various front springs as well. A set of wilwood front brakes (hub mount, so not legal in ESP) with modified spindles for them. A couple sets of spare used hubs. Some extra calipers & rotors. I think that's it? Feel free to make me an offer that forces me to sell you the car. :-) Fix the miss and there's no reason you can't win nationals in the thing. Mark |
