I replaced these with Koni SA shocks at all four corners last year when they had 44,000 on them. The pictures below are how they came off my 2001 SS. There are no leaks and I didn't have any issues with them. The shaft on one of the fronts has been cut because I had to cut the nut off of it but there is enough there to hold it. Send me a message and we'll work out shipping from 66224 in Overland Park Kansas.

I'm not sure if Bilstein still offers rebuild services or not. I have a buyer for the entire set but waiting on payment. I'll reply back if it doesn't work out. I would prefer to sell the entire set so it looks like Vernon would be the next in line.
