This is exciting! I just found out about the event today from browsing this section of the forum. I go to school about an hour away from Indy, so I'm going to try to make at least the auto-x event. Although it looks like it would mean me taking a day off from classes. You'd think my mechanical engineering professors would understand, right? The road course would be a fun, especially since there aren't that many opportunities to do a track day at ORP. Does anyone know what the costs are going to be for this year? I didn't see anything on the official web page, but maybe somebody else is privy?
Post correction to prevent mis-information: Originally I thought the road course portion would be at IMS, not ORP (formerly IRP). It turns out there is actually a road course at ORP, which I was unaware of. This post has been edited by rhit_rs: Jan 28 2009, 04:59 AM |

I lived in Indy last summer and my apartment was about 2 miles from the track. I drove by it all of the time thinking, man, that would be a good time!
