That also says trucks were being discounted heavily because dealers didn't want to be stuck with them.

I bet the ratio of work truck/personal use truck went up a lot last year. I work with a lot of people who have short commutes and they really don't care what they drive wrt to MPG. When you only have to drive 5 miles to get to work it's not a big deal. |
