Howdy,
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-Trucks...A1%7C240%3A1308 I can't believe someone wants to pay >$20k for this thing. I _really_ can't believe that doesn't meet the reserve. Mark |

I test drove a 1986 IROC with a T5 many years ago and it was a carbed car. I've actually driven one. At the time it seemed fast, but it was really a 150 hp pig too.
A female friend has a 1987 Camaro (not an IROC, it actually looks like a berlinetta, steel wheels and all with T tops, manual everything and a T5) that's got the 150 hp carbed engine in it. I freshened the gaskets and seals in that engine once for her. She bottomed the car out and ground a hole in her oil pan, while lifting the engine to get the pan off, the intake shifted and started leaking coolant down through the block (dripping off the crank), so we pulled it and put fresh gaskets in the whole thing. That was the last year of the carbureted Camaro's. |
