having been the owner of more carbed turd gens than most, I'd have to wonder why they'd buy the carbed motor instead of the TPI except that the first year TPI was a sizable turd too.
on a side note I've been oogling an 87 IROC near my house thats been sitting for at least 4 years. I was sad to learn that it was a carbed car that hasn't run in many years. <50K miles on it.
