I've never sought out a red car, but I've owned two because that was the only choice in stock. On the plus side, they don't show dirt nearly as bad as other colors. My red 96 Camaro never actually looked dirty; it just dimmed the glow a little. My black 01 Camaro looks dirty about 30 seconds after it is washed.

In my opinion the best color for ANY car. Problem was the GMC Jimmy looks SWEET all shined up and sitting on the showroom floor. Later that night, after getting home, I noticed how the truck looked FILTHY! You had to was that thing TWICE A DAY to keep it looking right. Since then....every truck I have owned has been white. I can not wash my truck for 3 months and it doesn't look bad..... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) |
