Mitch, I don't know where he got his parts but the car was built to replicate one of the original Gran Sports built in 1963 for Le Mans (only 5 or 6 were built I think): (IMG:http://popularmechanics.com/automotive/collector_cars/2002/8/corvettes_at_monterey/images/lg_GrandSport.jpg) It was absolutely beautiful. Looked like an original down to the last detail. This was the first time the car had been driven since it was built so the guy was taking it pretty easy--especially on the wet track.
