That's awesome that a nice old lady won.
It used to be legal in England for "companies" to collect investors into the state lotto. They'd get enough people on board and they could buy enough tickets to pretty much guarantee that they'd win something almost every time. Then they would split the winnings with the investors. This practice got so big and so successful that it was eventually outlawed. |
