QUOTE (rmackintosh @ May 30 2004, 09:49 PM) ....trees RIGHT ON TOP OF YOU! NO RUNOFF.....YIKES! You forgot RAIN!!! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Yeah, it's a pretty intimidating track. There is a little runoff room in some places but not a whole lot. The best advice is to not run off! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) After my crash a couple years back (which was actually right ahead of where the bunny video stops) one of the things that helped me get my confidence back was going to a different track--one with runoff room! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) It is sort of an advantage though, having it as my home track. People don't just show up there and go fast the first time they see the place. It takes a long time to get it right. Very challenging. Al, it's Pacific Raceways (formerly Seattle International Raceway) just southeast of Seattle. |
