Reminds me of an article I saw in SportsCar magazine recently where they built a Showroom Stock racer (Sentra SE-R Spec V) on the super-cheap, and I am almost certain they used a bolt-in "cage". They also managed to exceed the tow rating of the Toyota Tacoma they were using by a healthy margin.

Autopower street bar. The Fbody has a much thicker base under the main hoop pads than the Mustang does.
