Introducing the Blaine Fabrication driveshaft loop for 4th gen Fbody cars.
Features: -No chance of girdling a large diameter driveshaft -R&R without pulling driveshaft. -Lighter than drag oriented pieces. -Protects fuel/brake lines from broken DS/TA. -Fits existing Gload brace mounting points. -Black powdercoated finish The prototype has been in service for 6mo now without issue - production units will have about 1/2" more vertical clearance to TA, and will be powder coated gloss black. How does the Alum DS loop bolt to the car, or TA? I have an aftermarket TA, but it's a tranny mount, so I assume that the Alum. one will not work?

How does the Alum DS loop bolt to the car, or TA? I have an aftermarket TA, but it's a tranny mount, so I assume that the Alum. one will not work? The Aluminum DSL is bolted thru the tunnel, on each side with 3/8" alloy hardware. There are backing plates included that are placed right next to the cross pan interior brace - you can just make out the pass side backing plate in this pic - right under the shifter: There is another backing plate on the drivers side. They overlap the flange of the interior pan brace. The Aluminum DSL will interfere with a OEM style TA that mounts to the trans. It was designed specifically for the lightest weight solution using a UE TA. It may work with other short TA's.
