hell i have always been into cars, i had a 95 ta, modded it, had fun and sold it. but once i was spectating at infineon a few years ago and watched a road race heat with 4th gens, and mid 90's mustangs. what is the lowest mod level or class you can start in? i only know of scca or whatever and still don't know of specific classes within the scca. i would like to purchase an LT1 6 speed again and start at step one.

ive been looking at the cmc rules.. more so glancing. it seems that not much weight reduction can be done and not much engine modification can be done. what are the required mods that need to be done? other than wear a helmet?
why is a 3rd gen 350 considered cmc2 and a LT1 considered cmc1? an lt1 could do donuts inbetween turns and still make better lap times it seems.... where is the list of specifically allowed modifications? nevermind i just needed to read a little further (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) im guessing an LT4 knock module isnt allowed? that allowed my LT1 to run alot smoother... man im getting juiced reading about the cmc. how many of you are running restricor plate?
