We got 12" here yesterday. Global what?
Well yeah. Global warming and climate change means more extreme weather all over the earth. Hotter summers, colder winters, less predictability.
Climate = the way a place is generally is (like Mexico is usually hot and dry, Antarctica is frozen and dry)
Weather = what's happening in the sky from day to day, like it's raining or sunny (or snowing an unusual amount)
