Well yeah. Global warming and climate change means more extreme weather all over the earth. Hotter summers, colder winters, less predictability.
Climate = the way a place is generally is (like Mexico is usually hot and dry, Antarctica is frozen and dry)
Weather = what's happening in the sky from day to day, like it's raining or sunny (or snowing an unusual amount)

Or to put it another way, global warming is the shift in the average temperature.
