Well, I'm writing this from a work computer. I haven't had browser access for the internet for about a week now. Something called incredifind hit my computer and has taken out my Internet Explorer. It apparently got on my system before I got my firewall and Ad Aware.

I now have the following software on my computer to keep crap like this off of it:

Zone Alarm
Ad Aware
NAV
Spam Net

Today I finally found some files at work that should help fix it, but they amount to another 4 programs I will periodically run on the computer to find things like this. Hopefully they work.

It's just amazing to me that people write code like this just for the fun of it. What a waste of human life.

My computer is infested with this crap and I cant shake it for the life of me.  I have adaware (the pay for, upgraded version that aint worth a shit).  There are days when I cant get ANYTHING done at the office because of this stuff.  I run adaware and for about 2 minutes everything is great.  and then right back to the crapper.

I think they need to find out who came up with this data mining crap and drag him into town square and give him one right in the grape.

Yeah mine was too,and it started not doing stuff, did really weird stuff after I saved Jons Bunny vid.Would actually shut off the computer when trying to veiw it Black. And then the mystery downloads.I knew I had something wrong. I could not get rid of them.Till I upgraded my McAfees virus scan and was able to isolate the ones that were problems even unwanted.I don't want to exagerate here but close to 100 files through out my computer.I deleted/cleaned easy with McAfee, but still some where unmovable at that time. But they have a quarantine area I used it,and then was able to completely clean the computer of the stuborn/sticky ones.Maybe try if you don't already have this program if you do get updated.

There is this MMx@bIL or something worm going around now that is attaching itself to mailers and spams too. And that Typhon worm. Once these things get in "I here" they go from program to program everytime used and is nearly impossible to get it all,cuz is constantly speading infecting. THIS STUFF DOES SUCK some people (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

I get warnings of these things from my program, and have seen it grab something and eliminate it right in front of me...cool.
