Thanks also. Mine came in today.
I was pleased to see a shiny red Brembo box. I thought for sure these would be made in China so I was pleased to see Mexico instead. I was pleased with seeing the black paint(phosphate coating?) on the first rotor I took out of the box "great, I don't have to paint these". But the 2nd rotor was bare with no coating. Quality wise they both appear to be nice castings/machinings, but the 2nd has more material removed for balancing. (IMG:http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o33/StanIROCZ/Brakes/DSC04487.jpg) (IMG:http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o33/StanIROCZ/Brakes/DSC04488.jpg) ^I thought it was odd that both rotors have part of the numbers ground off. For the price it is hard to complain, just wondering if we are getting seconds somehow and if it is anything to worry about. For the others that ordered these did they come coated or bare? |
