Been lurking and reading for a while and finally found a car that I might buy and start taking to the track. It's a 1995 Firebird with 143k. Obviously, it's a six speed but it is also a hardtop. I know it has a bunch of miles, but overall it is in good condition.
I think it's worth around $4,000. Should I factor in the cost of a rebuild or do you think I can get some more life out of the motor? What should I be careful to look at on it? Thanks! PS - I also have a 94 Z28 M6, but it has been a never ending nightmare project that I just want to get rid of at this point. This post has been edited by racertim: May 10 2011, 08:10 PM |

Well, if I told you, then .... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
The $1000 Formula was a wrecked car. And it was wrecked beyond repair ... well, reasonable repair. Turned out the right front shock tower was about 1/2 higher that the left. Mostly local F-Body forums, word of mouth and CL. autotempest.com makes it easy to search and navigate CL and other big "auto for sale" sites. |
