This is the OEM fuel tank with modified pickup out of Kens 1995 TransAm - it was working great in his race car
http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/index.php?showtopic=14181 This setup was working well on track down to about 2gal left, much lower than the OEM pickup, which will typically starve and sputter coming off corners just below 1/2 tank: tank: OEM - fits any 4th gen, probably 3rd gen. Fill tube is tight, no leaks. Still fits OEM pickup assy - not included fill plate: modified with -8AN fittings and pickup/return tubes, vent with tipover ball valve, fits any 4th gen tank. requires external plumbing mods and pump, not included doghouse: fits any 3rd/4th gen. TIG welded aluminum requires external pump and filters, not included. tank $50 OBO not shippable - local pickup only SCRAPPED pickup assy $100 plus shipping SOLD doghouse $50 plus shipping SOLD (IMG:http://www.blainefabrication.com/projects/2010_05_09/IMG_3596.JPG) (IMG:http://www.blainefabrication.com/projects/2010_05_09/IMG_3597.JPG) (IMG:http://www.blainefabrication.com/projects/2010_07_04/IMG_3691.JPG) (IMG:http://www.blainefabrication.com/projects/2010_09_06/IMG_3812.JPG) This post has been edited by Blainefab: Jul 13 2012, 01:25 AM |
