Looks like I have front tire rubbing on the outsides of the fronts on the fender liner (pretty much at the top center of the opening). Running strano's and Koni's, 295/35 18 NTO5's, Forgestar 18x10 fronts with 38mm backspacing.
Any suggestions on how to fix or at least improve this situation. I thought the wearing on the outside edges was due to the bad alignment..and it certainly may have contributed, but this is also becoming a BIG problem. Our roads where I leave in BFE suck, they cut 18" sections across the road to run a water line (in like 12 spots over 8 miles) and did a crappy patch back job...Im getting full suspension travel (hitting rear bumpstops) at anything over 30mph. Its testing the suspension alright, but it has exposed some major issues. Thanks! |

I saw somewhere that John Adland slid a piece of foam up behind something in that area to push the fender out.
I found it, you may have to take the inner fender out. Post 22, I would read the whole thread. The better you drive it the faster you go, the faster you go the more load on the suspension and sway....your problem is going to get worse. http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/index.php?sho...=1179&st=20 This post has been edited by FASTFATBOY: Oct 12 2012, 10:11 AM |
