Are these still available? I see them on a few sites and they are all marked "ships in 5-7 days". But SLP no longer has them on their site. Anybody know where to get one? Anybody have one for sale?

It may have something to do with the standardization of electronic stability control system in all vehicles as of 9/1/11
http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/rules-regulations...spx?reg=571.126 The regs allow for the switching off of the system, but maybe SLP decided it wasn't worth their time to make their system comply (or didn't want to expose themselves to liability of shutting off a federally mandated safety system). Also with more cars having smart systems from the factory (ala ZL-1 Camaro) maybe it's a dying market.... Just a thought..... |
