Several months back I ran a HPDE with the BMWCCA at Barber. I ran in AI trim except for switching to some hand-me-down 295 R6's. It was a blast picking on all the BMW's. The Camaro definitely got some interesting looks...haha. I ran a best time of 1:38.8. Here's a few laps before she started starving for fuel.

It is with the new suspension, between the brakes and the suspension the car appears to be a full second faster around Road Atlanta. I have no basis for comparison at Barber as this was my first time there with this car.
The biggest improvement with all those changes has to be the brakes and wheel hubs. Virtually zero pad knockback, and I've run all year so far on one set of brake pads. They should get me through the end of the season too! I'm off to Watkins Glen in 2 weeks, then VIR 2 weeks after that. First time at both of those tracks for me. I'll be sure to post videos! |
