Several months back I ran a HPDE with the BMWCCA at Barber. I ran in AI trim except for switching to some hand-me-down 295 R6's. It was a blast picking on all the BMW's. The Camaro definitely got some interesting looks...haha. I ran a best time of 1:38.8. Here's a few laps before she started starving for fuel.

How much power do you have Stukas? It's substantially detuned to 325 RWHP 340 RWTQ in this video. I've run it like this for 2 years. I've since switched to a truck intake to choke the top end and fattened up the torque curve. I was able to put some timing back in the tune which really helped it run cooler. Now it's 336RWHP and 345 RWTQ. I've added 100 lbs. of ballast since then to make up for the extra power. Now at ~3050 race weight. |

3050lbs race weight?... that is... with you in the car?!? That's with me, a passenger seat, cool suit cooler and 40 lbs. of lead. It can run at 2920 race weight, but the motor is so detuned when it's that light that it tends to overheat. The car alone with no fuel is ~2725 lbs. |
