93-02 CAMARO/FIREBIRD BATTERY TRAY
The battery tray is made of powder coated mild steel with stainless steel hardware for excellent abrasion, and acid resistance. It and sits on top of the coolant tank in the original location, and the installation is easy with basic hand tools, drill, and a grinder or file. The hold down hook is steel to improve durability over the plastic OEM part, and is available in red or black powder coat. I also use a top bracket that goes from a headlight bolt down to the original bracket bolt. It's easy, secure, evident that it's on or not. I have an AGM battery so I do not worry about leaking honestly.

I use an Odyssey/Die Hard Platinum 34/78 oversized AGM battery (Sears stopped carrying our stock, 75/25 size version of this a while ago), which takes up EVERY little millimeter of the available room on top of the coolant overflow tank (I had to bend the AC pipe to fit it, until I delete my whole AC system), so I do not think I could even use this bracket at all.
