So there's this place on the internet called Ebay - I've kind of got hooked on picking up good deals, and am going to try some buying/selling. Before I start listing there, I'll try selling stuff here on FRRAX and my local Craigslist. THIS SET IS SOLD
first up: Brand new, still in packages set of Armstrong full polish long pattern 12pt combination wrenches. 13 pieces 1/4" to 1" No moving parts to break, extra long for leverage, made in USA, high quality chrome plating, these are the foundation of a lifetime tool kit. 1/4 5/16 3/8 7/16 1/2 9/16 5/8 11/16 3/4 13/16 7/8 15/16 1 (IMG:http://blainefab.com/projects/2015-04-02/1-009.JPG) This post has been edited by Blainefab: May 21 2015, 03:38 AM |

How well are the open ends finished? Are they smooth or do they show milling marks? I'm looking for something to install muzzle brakes without marking them up. I have a set of Proto wrenches that do a pretty good job, but they are black oxide coated and have some milling marks in the open ends.

Kevin - Here are pics of the 3/4", it's the only one not in a sealed bag. There's a mark on one side, does not catch a fingernail. The others, as near as I can tell thru the plastic bags, are as clean or cleaner. I've got a 1/2 dozen of the same vintage that I bought to infil my shop box, and they all are as clean or cleaner also. If there's a specific size you need to use, let me know and I'll pop it out of the bag and take pics. I've bought about 100 Armstrong products from this Ebay seller over the last couple of months, all have Graingers SKU tags on them from 12/2004, they are now showing discontinued, they must have changed style or something. They have obviously been stored well, there is no aging apparent on any of these tools.
