The set of bars is $271.66. They went up slightly as did the individual bars a couple of months ago... $300+ is a mistake unless Arlyn was including freight. I've been selling so many fronts that ST raised the price on the front bar, kept the rear the same and barely changed the kit to sell more rear bars. They are not happy I don't sell more kits, but I'd rather use a rear bar I believe in than sell you all something just because it's easier..... Shox.com probably doesn't care either way.

I can tell you that the bars are not going to become less expensive, and with fuel surcharges UPS and FedEx charge now, shipping won't either. Shox.com is a much larger company than are we, and they choose to ignore ST's request that parts not be sold for less than the Jobber pricing. Which is why the last time ST ran out of bars my orders were filled before any of Shox.com's were. And shipping is only $25-30 if you happen to live on the west coast. The bars have to ship at the oversize 2 rate because of the size. That uses to be about $35 to the east coast, now pushing $40-45 with UPS pricing changes.

We try and be price competitive, and I think you'll find on most things we are, if not better on certain items. But we have to make a living and pay for the phones you guys can call for tech help. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Doug's case is different as he is in Canada. I have to ship all parts to Canada myself, ST will not drop-ship them. That means his incur more shipping than anyone's in the states, basically two freights, one to get the bars here, another to get them shipped to Canada with the customs paperwork.

As for the hollow bar project, we're working on it, but nothing new.
