I'm in cleveland, and we now have lost all of our lots due to trivial shit like noise. The only lots we can get cannot accomodate for our average 120-160 car size.

I was wondering if anyone else has this problem?

Also, are there any clubs out there that have thier own lots that they bought and maintain? That would be very expensive, but may be the only way to get to an autox within an hours drive here (to me autox isnt worth more driving than that).

we've lost lots due to condition, change of management doesnt allow it(twice), noise(twice) - in just the past 2 years. kind of sucks. now there is nothing, and I don't have the time and money to do OT. If this stays this way, I may actually have time to do my schoolwork during the weekends, but a big part of my would rather do some form of racing and procrastinate with the schoolwork.

also, what types of places do you run at? airports, closed businesses?

Miki

We run at a college and I do not believe there are any noise restrictions. They were concerned about us sitting while working and also drugs/alcohol, but obviously none of those are a problem for organized scca events. They've been very impressed with us and have not given us any trouble aside from the first event where they were a little cautious, but I cant say anything negative about them. The WSU SAE team got us the lot to use.

shortbus, lap times are generally under a minute, with ftd usually falling right under 50 seconds. I think they run non-scca santioned events in the Glendale area, off 275 west of 75, so you might keep your ears open for that. If you ever make it up to a WOR event (25th is our next), me and another guy on the forum are active on here. He has a black 96 ws6, so look out for us (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
