For CAM-C, I’d like to get tires for my 95 Z28 to go on a set of C5 Z06 18x10.5s. I’m leaning toward the 275 35 18 RE71s. I know there are wider options in other brands, but are they faster on this size rim? Car is a 95 Z28. I also have 4 17x11s if there is a better option for those.
Thanks! Rich |

My only experience is with 315 Rival S and RE71R. I think the RE71R are faster. I am running 285/30R18. These have been working great for me. These will not have clearance concerns either. If you run tighter venues I think these are ideal. I would really like to try 315 Rival S 1.5 or even more want to try 315 Advan 052. So, personally I would try one of the 315 newer tires (likely the Advans)... if you chose the safe route I would recommend the 285 RE71R. I know they are short, but they work well. |
